Americas Army

For a free First Person Shooter, Americas Army is awesome. I have played the game since the first version and continued to play up to 2.4 or so. With version 2.x, the hackers seemed to be everywhere and we sort of lost interest in it.

Then the announcement for AA3 came out and it was using the new Unreal engine. The excitement was back!

June 17th, AA3 was released to the public.

Well, there should have been a paragraph above this about how much fun we were having and how great it was. Unfortunately, AA3 has so far been a flop. Overwhelming interest crashed their servers, more bugs in the release than the beta to be honest. Today you can at least login but I haven't been able to do any training or game playing. AA3 has been an extreme let down.

Heres hoping the US Army can turn this around and fix some of the many issues in a timely matter.
